Why do we do it ?

I read on the forums that there are loads of us who google and then worry ourselves sick over what we've read.

I have stopped doing it now because i was making myself worse by convincing myself i had this, that and the other!!!

Why do people google, have you done so and if you have did it make you worse or put your mind at ease?

i googled today to find out more about a diagnosed condition

i was scared doing it because of what i might find out

however the condition described me to a tee

at least i think the hopsital have got it right

I have done my share of googling in the past but I don't do it now it only made me feel worse and every day I had a new illness.

Thanks for replying, just going on these 2 replies it looks like it could be a good or bad thing
For Milly it seems to have put her mind at rest and for you lorac like me it scares the hell out of you.

Don't think i'd ever do it again

think the difference was i looked after a diagnosis rather than to see what i might have got

and i dont have anxieties about my health
