When I get slightly cold or worried all of the blood drains from my fingers, making them look yellowy, white and icy cold. Is this normal?
Thanks for the advice, Di x

i've been told by my therapist that when we're in fight or flight mode the blood leaves our extremeties and pools in the center of our bodies. i guess this happens in battle, to protect the organs and create less chance of bleed out if we're cut on our arms or legs. this was told to me to explain why i get tingling in my hands and fingers (i was ablet o replicate the numbness by hyperventilating myself).
yours seems slightly more extreme than mine, but i think the theory is the same.
have you seen a dr about it? i have health anxiety, so i go once a month minimum. :(
whoops forgot to remove my 'joke' avatar from the ban the user above you thread.
No havent been to the doctor but think I will next week, I had it last year for quite a while then it stopped but it has come back now. Thanks for the advice tho, I think that must have been what has been happening, the blood leaving my fingers to be put to better use elsewhere when I am in panic mode. Thanks, Di x
don't know if this is the same but I get tingling or pins and needles in my fingers, I notice that my nails look a bit bluish as well

I certainly get this. After or during a panic attack my hands and fingers seem to turn a shade of pale yellow which doesn't help with the anxiety at all, and they become really cold and sweaty...
