For the last 3 weeks I have cut down from 100mgs a day of Sertraline to alternating from 100mgs one day then 50mgs the next. I have been fine really, but yesterday I spent the day crying on and off, and I don't feel much better today. I know they say it takes about 2 weeks to get through this but is this from the start of coming off - ie 3 weeks ago - or when the symptoms start to kick in. I've not felt this depressed for years!

Don't give up, fight this as long as you can. Two weeks might seem like a long time but it isnt that long really. You can find the strength & determination to see this out! I am putting my faith in you as i know you can do it. Keep strong!
But I'm so scared that I'm going to slip back into the anxiety and depression that put me on them in the first place! Presumably, normally these symptoms are shortlived in your experience?
