Where do you get these tests done ?
The test centre is Genova diagnostics based in the UK...but you have to request it through a Dr or nutrionist... I did mine through smart nutrition but I'm sure there are many other places.

Good tips. I'm suffering anxiety at the moment, which is worse when I get up in the morning but then tails off at night-time. It's a pain in the arse. I'm also 4 weeks into being back on Citalopram (20mg) after coming off via the GP for about 3 weeks (without it) I assume it's like starting again.
The Truth Points to Itself
Just out if curiosity, could you cortisol levels be high even if a hormone test showed they were within normal range?
The thing to remember about cortisol is that it is part of the fear response. Quite simply, less anxiety, less cortisol.
Cortisol is used in other functions so its not a question of elimination, just bringing it into normal range. So, be careful is considering ways to use supplements to reduce it because you need to understand what cortisol actually does, like how it keeps us from overdoing things to preserve our bodies.
Meditation is often mentioned for reducing cortisol...because meditation also reduces anxiety.
