hi can anyone tell me if anxiety affects you when you are due to have a period. A couple ov days before im due on i feel really ill i have had hormone test and they have come back normal. thanks lynne

Oh my goodness yes it can, I get really anxious before a period cant sleep palpitations the whole lot. X Great being a woman

Hi Lynne, i am the same for a few days before and a few days in, find nothing helps not even relaxation, it's as if i have no control and i find it worse than my normal everyday anxiety, bring on the menopause and a totally new set of problems to look forward to LOL!

I definitely get more emotional and sensitive at that time and my anxiety heightens, you're not alone hun xx
