I have been on 10mg Citalopram now for 15 days and im feeling awful. I feel so detached and very strange and that causes me to panic. I hate these feelings and was thinking that they had surely have calmed down by now? I get lightheaded a lot as well and feel like i am numb to everything anyone else experienced this?? as its so distressing i feel like i will never feel normal again :(

Unfortunately these mads to take a while to kick in and can tend to make you feel worse at first. Try to sick with it a bit longer and i'm sure you will start to notice a difference.

YOU WILL FEEL BETTER,IFELT JUST LIKE YOU.MY SIDE EFFECTS LASTED OVER THREE WEEKS ,BUT NOW MY DOSE HAS BEEN INCREASED ,.AND I CAN SEE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL,MY ANXIETY HAS DECREASED AND I FEEL A LOT BETTER IN MYSELF.PERSEVERE!YOU'LL GET THERE IN THE END SUE X

The feeling s you feel are quite normal. Give yourself a chance for the body to adjust to the tablet. The side effects do go away and you will feel better any time now.

i been on citalopram 10mg 4 about 2 mnths had no side effects am lots better nw n less pannicky.
