upper abdominal discomfort

Hi all, am really struggling with my anxiety at the moment.
I have discomfort in upper abdominal which is really scaring me that something horrible is there (the big C word).
Iam in no pain it just feels uncomfortable and heavy, i know anxiety can affect the digestive system but trying to convince myself that its just that is hard. The doctor has ran full blood count, liver, kidneys, thyroid etc and all ok, she has also felt the area and feels nothing. Just cant get this one out of my head. Any reassurance will be gratefully received.

I had this a few weeks ago just like you have described. I was also very worried about the 'C' word but after I stopped worrying about it and went onto to worrying about something else - it just went away. I'm sure it's just anxiety and if you try to focus on something else it will go just like mine has.

The chest is full of muscle especially below the breastbone where the 6pack starts. That gets heavy, tense and tired when anxious. I get exactly the same sensations even with normal blood tests and examinations.
