Got prescribed today??

I have just been prescribed citalopram and i must say the side effects look worse than how i am feeling now. I dont get panic attacks anymore and have not for years so dont want them to start again even if it just 2 weeks !!! Stopped taking Serovax 7 years ago and i never had any of the side effect with that. Does this mean i should be ok with the citalopram or not ? I am a single mum and cant afford to be messed up for 2 week as i am job hunting too x ADVICE PLEASE !!! x

hi there...why have you been prescirbed citalopram..??it can heighten anxiety for a few days..or if its depression it can make you more depressed ..but in the long term theyre good..stick with them..ive been on 10mg for 2 and a half weeks and starting to feel like my old self again..ive just been upped to 20mg a day so il see how i am on them but my advice is to take them..!!
