    GGT and ALT worries

Hi I have been having a few liver function tests over the last six months, it started out as an insurance test, and it came back high. Since christmas Id not had a drink and im not a heavy drinker either, just had the results of having no booze and everything acccept alt and ggt came back high. GGT was 94 and ALT was 72, before my GGT was 130 and ALT 60?

Are these values very high? Im very worried about all manner of things, the doctor said he wasnt sure what to do next and suggested I see a gastro person, and also commented on having a liver biopsy....

    What do you think..?

    Cheers

Did you read this website page...

Not sure if that will help or not.
