Delayed panic from standing.

I just wondered if anyone else has had this. Sometimes during the day just after standing I feel a large rise in panic, which usually leads to a full blown panic attack or extreme anxiety or a heart palpitation. It takes about ten seconds after I stand up to reach the high point, and it goes away again. It seems to mostly happen when I start to think about it happening -as always in things of this nature.

If I have to stand like in a queue or talking to someone sometimes I get panicky and have to sit down coz I feel disorientated and dizzy and panicky.Wenjoy x

Hi im new to this site. I also get the same feeling, if I keep moving its not so bad but if I stop still or stand and chat to someone I feel it coming on and also when driving if the traffic lights are red are hate it as I feel like im going to panic and I dont know why.

hi, yyou have completely just discribed what i get, it scares the life out of me, if i stand up and walk, about ten seconds later my head is spinning and i feel like im on the verge of loosing control....my heart is pounding and i feel very lightheaded, it must be panic induced but its so odd as for me it comes a lot out of the blue....thankyou for making me realise im not dying, i was worried it was something else....
