YAWNING !

Could be a more generalised topic, but my anxiety is pretty much health driven.

Anyone else have enormous yawning bouts before / during anxious episodes ? Anyone know why ??

Hi Simon,

Yes I yawn all the time, more so when I go out for a walk. Like a big basking shark I am on legs. I think I read someone posting before calling it 'air hunger'. My wife even tells me from time to time to close my mouth as I do it without even thinking. I'm sure there are a few of us.

Hi there,

Yawning has been associated with stress. It therefore follows that when we are in an anxious state we are by definition, stressed.
