I had an accident and tried to claim, but...

One of those fly by night lawyer types stopped me in the street to ask if I'd ever had an accident that I wanted to claim compensation for. I said yes and explained my situation.

Once she'd stopped gagging in horror, she told me that sneezing and following through doesn't count as an accident. I told her I didn't do it on purpose but it made no difference. She then tried to tell me it would be regarded as an "act of God". So God s**t in my boxers did he? How munificent!

Does anyone else think these scummy fast-claims companies are a waste of space?

A few years ago I was being harrassed by one of these insects in the street, he just wouldn't give up. He finally said, very sarcastically, so you've had absolutely no accidents at work, in the street, on the road etc. I very calmly repeated that no, I hadn't. But that he was about to.
