So Worried Reassure Me

i have posted a few times about my heart about pain but im really worried. i have a really tender part of my chest, just slightly to the left where abouts the breast bone starts. with all the stuff about sudden death and heart muscles im terrified

If you had heart problems you would not feel pain though.

Remember the heart is a muscle so can ache like any other muscle can and some stretches will help it.

its just that its realy tender just where the breast bone starts where u can feel the heart beat best, if that makes sense and when i get a twinge or pain i think why only over my heart i know im probably just over reacting bt i am petrified

I think I posted to one of you're other threads about this sweety as I sorta had the same type of thing.

Does it get worse at any time of the day,more when you think about it or anything? Can you get to sleep with it or that? I had similar type pain and I couldn't breathe in properly with it and when I pressed near myunder arm and my chest(sounds weird) it soothe the pain slightly but whn I took it away it went weird again and I would have to get up and walk about. Cos I thought I was having heart problems Have you had any tests done??

Thanks weemee, i dont have the pain under the left breast on the bone this is just a tender area where the breast bone starts over the heart, why would this be tender? i have had 2 ecg, the last one last year in march! i know u must think im mad going on

Dont think your mad at all , the doc told me that when you have anx problems you without knowing it tense all your body up so you end up with loads of tender acres all over. To put you mind at rest go back to your doc and explain how you feel.

Thanks, its just the problems i had before with the pain under breast bone and shoulder blade now its just the shoulder and this tender spot around heart! the best thing is my doc offered to send me 4 some blood tests etc and i refused was scared of result

I bet you have been poking and prodding it too and making it more sore haven't you?

You do need to stop please.

It is probably tension and like I said muscle strain.

i have had ecg and things the tests were for aneamia not heart related! its just i saw my mum die from a heart attack and her father too did! i know a part of me is been stupid and im fine but its just HA i guess! just been stupid
