I'm glad it has helped so many people
The last few weeks have been worth it after all!
I'm constantly updating this so check back now and then for updates.
I've had a wonderful day today (even though I've been bored for most of it lol) and it is easy to look back and think "I don't know why I was ever worried" -- but you can't think like that, you've got to enjoy the breaks in the bad weather and when you are strong enough, you've got to use the good times to deal with the things that make you feel bad.
I'm gonna ask for counselling or CBT when I go for my repeat prescription tomorrow. I think talking therapy could fix me, at least for now

What would you do if you weren't afraid?
I drew the line between hope and despair, and the line will hold.
"Forth now, and fear no darkness!"
Added a section on counselling and CBT; made several other references to it throughout the text to remind people they can do more than just take pills and think happy thoughts.
Added a section about "what if I have a relapse" as lots of people including me find they have bad days which scare us into thinking we are slipping back down.
Also made references to hanging on to good feelings.

Well then Pot Noodle pickers, I've rearranged the survival guide into some sort of order, hopefully it will be of more use now! I'm off for a Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodle with extra soy sauce!

Really nice post, with at least two references to star trek!! I like Didn't know about the ibuprofen, must find another cure for headaches rather than batter my already battered stomach some more!!
-- had a sudden thought for those who are in London, there is an interesting exhibit in the British museum about taking pills, not entirely related but interesting.
Thank you so much for this post PsychoPoet. The "what if I have a relapse" section was very comforting.
great advise, my husband been on them over 3 weeks now but still feeling no better, well he does have some ok days. I shall tell him to to stick at it. But i dont feel like there is any light at the end of the tunnel. I have suffererd from panic attacks and anxiety for 10 years but have it under control now so i really do sympathize, but i am starting to feel myself on the edge. I am praying that george will start getting back to normal and the tablets are right for him x x x
Someone noticed the Trek references
Glad this is helping people. I have had PMs from other members saying they have found the guide helpful. Please keep checking back as I will update it every so often.
