low heart rate

hi i have noticed my heart rate is bout 42/50bpm at rest and only goes up a little when walking round im worried there is somethng wrong im not fit and dont exercise so why is it so low

as long as you feel fine its nothing to worry about ..i was told from my GP that a low heart rate is in fact very healthly and that its a good thing ...
