Citalopram and Hayfever Meds

It is that time of the year again when my nose and eyes and throat start going a bit mental. Damn you, pollen!

Any fellow Hayfever suferers out there know whether it is OK to take Hayfever medication alongside Citalopram?

hi a suffer hay fever n took citrezine with escitalopram no issues but check wi ur gp a did the said it was ok plus am on valium n sleeppin tabs so the antihitamines r a walk in the park lol goo luck ;-]

Hi Al!, you can take antihistamines with cit,but avoid the ones that contain diphenhydramine as they will have an enhanced drowsy effect taken with Cit. Over the counter medications suitable are Claritin and Alavert. Sue
