Hi guys, woke up this morning with the most awful burning senstation in tummy. Its just above my navel & really hurts. I have take loperimide (as was going lots) pain killers & gaviscon & it still kills. Really shattered too. What you think it is? normal IBS? x

Hi i suffer from anxiety and also have stomach issues I get a burning feeling in my stomach and mostly stomach aches somtimes feeling sick. Doctors diagnosed me with Gastritis which has probably flared up due to the anxiety.

I have been prescribed nexium and have to go back in a month. You mind and stomach are so closely linked and my doctor said one of the problems will usually set off the other.

Because i have health anxiety i always think the worst case scenario and struggle to believe what the doctors tell me which in turn akes my anxiety worse.

See your doctor if it carries on because you may well have gastritis or gerd.

thanks shazza, its easing off a s they day goes on but feel yucky. plus have to cook for 5 people tonight, not looking forward to it! x

mine is usually worse in the morning and then comes n goes throughout the day.
