poking sensation in left abdomen?

have any of you experienced a poking sensation on the left side of you abdomen between the bottom of you ribs and your hip??

i seem to be getting this sensation every now and again it comes and goes for a few days, its not painful and not causing me to stop doing anything i want to do

I just wondered what it could be ?

probably something to do with wind in the intestines (and bowel movements) Lots of rumbles and movement in that area.

I have what the specialist call a 'loopy bowel' ....I don't know either!! I get this feeling sometimes which I think is wind caught in a pocket of the bowel, reminds me of when I was pregnant and the baby kicked in the early stages?
