take time to read - it may help you...

    hi all
i just wanted to tell my story as i have discovered that a lot of my problems are from hyperventilating.
    basically...
    HA since last Aug,
all physical symptoms have been here at some point, headaches, tingling, spasms, dizziness, aches, pains, ibs.
tests done, chest xray, numerous blood tests, brain scan, hearing/balance,
    having cbt,
BUT...most doctors i have seen have said i breathe too fast. (hyperventilation) but it looks like i dont just do it when im panicking, im doing it habitually.

this brings on a change in the alkaline levels in your blood which results in all those symptoms above.
i now have to work on my breathing and relaxation methods (which are easier said than done!)

I just wanted to let u all know as it may be something that is affecting u too.

    hi just found your post.
I was looking to see if anyone else felt very giddy and bloated - and were these symptoms related by other than panic
So hyperventilation i am also a CONSTANT h/venter.
i am always told ""do deep breathing exercises"" or breath into a paper bag. OK I understand that BUT I hyper- hyperventilate when i panic.

all physical symptoms have been here at some point, headaches, tingling, spasms, dizziness, aches, pains, ibs
These symptoms that you have described, seem to be always 'there'
if i go to the doc (which i do often) it is all down to stress (which i swear i don't have) until these ""symtoms""get worse.
I now go to physio for my breathing - A list of 10 exercises 5 for arms and 5 for legs to be done alternately = Arms ; 5 mins bouncing football, 5 mins swinging arms backstroke + others Legs same 5 mins each = pedalling bike, step ups, marching on the spot.
Some of these i can only manage 3mins before getting out of breath. BUT it will improve
    Hope you both feel better
    best wishes
