note from my village council

I got a note from our village council today announcing forthcoming events.
"village beauty contest"....... that's a laugh, last year a pig came third !

And a message saying that there will be no village nativity play this year as we can't find three wise men and a virgin in the village!

That sounds quite pleasant really.

They have a relay for the kids here.
First they have to line up and see who is first to break a window, then it's on to letting down the nearest car tyre, followed by a quick sprint to the local shop to shout abuse at the shop keeper.
The first one to get back to the broken window gets a can of spray paint to do with as they wish.

p.s.....i could volunteer for the part as the virgin for your village nativity.
