Hi all fellow health anxiety peeps

Hi all, im 33 male and suffered with panic attacks but now diagnosed with health anxiety .. when im not having these weird days im a normal living person.. i call atleast one amburlance a month and feel totally embrassed by it . i have started a 6 week relaxation program but of course they dont understand that at 9 pm at night i could do them no problem but once ihave that twinge its good night vienna, anyway i have 3 kids and have recently been called unique by my doctor ... title titles titles...

Hi and welcome

Well i think we are all pretty unique,we are who we are, warts and all.I understand that feeling of when that anxiety gets its grip, everything you know to be true and sensible or anything we have learned seems to go right out the window, i have made a fool of myself many a time , but i am who i am..

Perhaps the relaxation course might help bring your anxiety down a notch or two, which will help you in general.

to NMP. Glad that you have found us. There is a brilliant book by Dr Claire Weekes called 'Self help for your nerves' and also free downloads of her work, both available from the NMP shop. I can not recommend these enough as they really explain what is happening to us and how we can recover.
