    Ativan (Lorazepam), PVCs, twitching

    Hello folks,

I was on citalopram for about 10 days, which did not work for me (made my anxiety terrible, and had every side effect possible including a possible seizure or convulsion in bed) so I stopped that and my GP gave me Ativan. I've been on that for about 12 days, and I feel my anxiety coming under control, so I've been cutting back day by day.

My question is, is it common to have more PVCs (skipped beats) while withdrawing? I've been noticing them mainly after smoking (but not all the time), and was just on my exercise bike and had one or two (but none after I was done). Also had some small muscle twitching but I know that is common.

I've had 2 EKGs (heart only and arm/leg) and blood work, all normal.

Anyone experienced PVCs while withdrawing from benzos?

    Thanks,
    LakePines
