Ectopic Beats???

Hi,

I just wanted to ask whether anyone has had runs of ectopic beats that make them feel like they are going to pass out? I haven't had them this bad for a while, but recently it really scared me. It was kind of like the feeling of decent in a lift, and happened 3 times on the trot while getting out of the shower. It has really scared me although i do not want to go back to the doctors as they were so dismissive before and got really fed up with me. I had it all checked a couple of years ago and although i was having them very frquently they said don't worry, but i am worried!! How do people cope with them or do they not get them this crazy?

Hope someone can help. These things seem to be taking over my life.

Yeah i have recently started suffering with palps & ectopics, they often go & come back again randomly. I found they are worse when u notice them & concentrate on them & when you don't they aren't there.

hi i tend to get them more if im really tired,or if i move suddenly,i also had test done but was told they cant kill you so live with it Ive hadl ots over this pass week and it lasts for hours, ijust try to relax and keep my self distracted

I noticed you are a nurse Nic, do you know if these can cause fainting? I really felt i was almost down there on the floor! It was so horrible.

Hello

They can cause dizziness, not fainting that i know of. If fainting is occuring you really need to be assessed by a cardiologist x
