    Dizziness on Propranolol

I've been on it since yesterday and so far have taken only 100mgs altogether, i feel extremely light headed and dizzy, is this normal and will it go as i get use to the drug?

    Re: Dizziness on Propranolol

I've been on this drug for a couple of weeks (160mg) for general anxiety. I too have been experiencing dizziness for the past 5 days. It feels like your brain is bobbing around in a bowl of water or something, right? Anyway, I normally took four 40mg tablets at different times of the day. My doc has changed my prescription to 80mg pills and I've only to take two per day. He said since they are larger they release their effects more slowly and that it should help. I have only started doing this - today in fact - so I don't know yet. Anyway, he said dizziness is extremely common and it only lasts a few days. You can also call and ask if you should alter the dosage/time you take your pills.
