    Chest Muscle Spasms/Twinges

Does anyone else get these, and have any idea why we do get them?

I've recently experienced my first one, not sure if its classed as a spasm or a twinge, it lasted a few moments, and felt like a throb more than anything.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Hi I think it is to do with Hyperventilation - we tend to breathe tooo quickly. or hold ourselves too tight (shoulders up around yoru ears))
Good piece in a book by Dinah Bradley.
you will probably find something in ""symptoms" on left of screen.
    hope you feel better soon

Aye I figured as much, it happened just after eating so it could have easily been a mixture of air and twinges.

I know it's nothing to really worry about because it literally only lasted seconds, and as per usual its good to know that i'm not the only one getting the sensation, so this is something else on the list that 'won't harm me'

I think this answers most of our problems - no matter how often we are told ""it is OK""" it still scares the wits out of us.

Then we come on here and find that we are not alone in our fears
