Has anyone had a blood test when it actually aches when they are taking blood out? i had one today in my left arm and now a big bump has come over the area where he took the blood and it still aches. This has not happened before thats why i worry. i had i this morning just wondering if anyone can help cos all im doing is worrying. I would appreciate any quick replies

Hi yeah iv had a few achy blood tests in the past in fact I personally hate giving blood iv always get a achy draining horrible feeling maybe im just a bit of a wuss tho sometimes get bad bruising after as well.
Iv found it just depends on the doctor or nurse doing it.
I had one doc who couldnt get a vein so just kept stabbing until he found one i was purple after!
