Citalopram

Hello everyone, hope you’re ALL ok.
I have a few questions to ask if that is ok… Is it ok to take the odd Ibuprofen with Citalopram 20mg? as the tablets causes me to have headaches, not to mention everything else - even tho I do get headaches anyway. Plus, any advice as the tablets, they don’t half upset my stomach. Also, not sure if the tablets are causing it, but I woke up today, with me being almost deaf in my left ear – still am. I seem to be convinced, that it’s to do with my medication too.

Any advice would be very appreciated – THANK YOU,

Hi Andrew ,you shouldnt take ibrofen with Citalopram .Paracetamol is reccomended ,.Try eating before or after you take your pills it will help with the stomach problems . The haeaches do get less the longer you are on them ,that said if they are troublesome ask you Dr to give you something stronger ..All the best Sue x

Thank you Sue, very much appriciated, better take paracetamol in future then. I have ben taking my tablets just before i go to bed, is that wise then, or should i take them when i get up? thanks,

I take mine at night ,but I make sure I have eaten a little something before hand , not on an empty stomach ... Sue x
