Embarrassing Question

Hello All,

This is kind of embarrassing, but for the past 5 days I have been having mild pains in my rectum passage (not anus) along with low right and left abdomen pains.

I am worried that it could be something serious like cancer. Are rectum pains a common symptom among anxiety sufferers?

I have also had mild pains in my chest where my heart is which make their way down the centre of my abdomen.

I am convinced I have something wrong with me and that I don't have anxiety because I only start to feel worried and anxious after I have experienced these mild pains.

matthew, take a look at panic33's thread in general anxiety, we both have been diagnosed with some form of anxiety, although i don't have your symptoms, me and panic both are at a loss as we both seem to get symptoms then the worry and anxiety starts.

Maybe it's subconcious...

I would say go see your doc about your pains although i bet it'll be put down to anxiety, i get chest aches too and i had that feeling of not quite finished when going to the loo but not really any pain but it could be just ur anxiety causing upset to your gastric system.
