fast heartbeat on beta blockers?

Last night I started getting a faster heartbeat could this have anything to do with beta blockers? i thought they slowed the heart beat? feel like breathing faster and deeper aswell?. Or maybe its just the anxiety? Not sure how to tell the diff?

I ahve been on beta blockers for quite a while now. I also get the fast heart rate and breathing faster and deeper. It is the anxiety.

i use to take them too...and found for about 15 mins my heart rate would go up and then calm done....anyways i always found them good to get a good nights sleep too.
