hi can anyone tell me if they have taken 1o mg of citroplam i don't like taking tabs at the best of times doc said he wants to start me off on 20mg i said id do ten

Hi,

I was started on 20mg as I was told it was a good place to start! I spent ages deciding whether or not to take them, but after talking to several (knowledgable) people, they convinced me that I should. I was told that taking 10mg may not be noticable and as I was looking for help, 20mg was a reasonable place to start. The side effects weren't great for about a week, but after that things settled down and after about 6-8 weeks I noticed a big improvement in my anxiety. I had a bit of a blip, so was put up to 30mg, and am now on 40mg and that is "holding" me steady. My gp assures me that the doseage is not really that important - everyone is different, and requires a different amount to make them feel better. I think if you start too low you may just give up because the benefits may not be noticable. The main thing is not to give up before the good effects kick in.
