Dr claire weekes

Hello all....its me again.... I have just got Dr Claire Weekes book from the libary called essentail help for your nerves. I am only on page 9 but can totally relate to what she is saying....its like i wrote it,lol. You can tell she really knows what she is talking about by the way she words things. Has anyone else read this book? xx

First read when i became ill over 18 years ago, and has been my 'bible' since, when i first read it , it was a godsend, and was so reassuring, , still use it now for extra reassurrance, and would certainly recommend everyone to have a read, its not to everyones taste, but so many connect with it.

Like Pollyanna said, I don't know what I'd have done without my Claire Weekes book. Even all these years down the line, when I have a wee "blip" I still have a wee look at it. When I first got it I highlighted paragraphs that really helped me, and would read them over and over again. I even copied things down, kept them in my purse, and read them in the office toilet when I was at my worst!! You can't go wrong if you follow her advice - it's the only way. Acceptance is the key to recovery. I really hope it helps you.
