Could hyperventilating cause weird chest sensations

Ive been tight in my chest all day because lack of sleep has really made my symptoms all the worse :( ive been really upset and scared today if im honest. I hate this. Could over breathing make you feel weird sensations across your chest..not palps per se...Id imagine so because of the strain on your chest muscles??

Your breathing feels uncomfortable because your chest muscles are tense. It is nothing to do with your heart and lungs, so don't worry. Breathing and chest discomfort is so common with anxiety. You will always get enough breath. Try and take relaxed, slow, gentle breaths. It will go.
