Self Help/Support groups ?

How many of you have been to a self help/Support group ?

Do you find them helpful ?

I haven't although go to a social group for ppl with mental issues - we mainly talk about things other than our issues but acts as a safe social outlet so I find it very good.

The same centre is soon to start an anxiety self help group which I will be facilitating.

I'd therefore be glad to read the responses on this thread.
