    last few days.

These last 3 days have been pretty rough for me.

Today has been the worst, the dp/dr seems heavier than usual, and my mind just wont stop swimming with thoughts Im gonna go to the gym later, that will help for a bit.

God this nightmare has to end soon.

I know my posts are usually on the positive side but today I just feel so low.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having a rough time hun.

Just try to stay positive and think of this as a blip, and keep your mind as occupied as you can to keep the anxious thoughts at bay.

So many people are finding it tough at the minute, it is probably the post christmas and new year blues or something like that LOL.

    Keep smiling hun

    Take care

    Hi there

Know how you feel....like Trac says, a lot of us are having a difficult time with the start of a new year. I started a new job on Wednesday and only made it in for one day. Panic got the better of me and unfortunately, my employer is not the understanding kind.

I'm trying hard to not let it drag me too low though. I've already contacted a Cog Behaviour Therapist today and applied for a couple of voluntary work positions. I'm determined to make 2006 a good year even if it has started pretty badly:(

Good on you for going to the gym. Exercise really helps, stay positive and I'm sending lots of hugs

    thanks for your support

Some of it could be down to the post christmas blues.

I've also been doing a lot of looking back, thinking how well I was last year and now I've started another year with anxiety. Can't be helping.
I REALLY want this to be my year of recovery, but progress is so slow sometimes it so depressing.

    Hi,

Try not to look back hun, just look forward, you will get back to where you were before again, sometimes it just seems a lot harder than other times.

    Take care

    Hi Roby

Sorry you are feeling a bit down but remember how well you were doing and try to visualise those lovely thoughts and how well you felt.

This will pass as quickly as it came and try to remain positive that 2006 will be a fab year for you.

Sending you a hug and hope you feel better soon.

    Hi Roby

It is a bumpy raod to recovery and this is to be expected or at least not taken as a huge disappointment if it does happen.

If you hadn't have made huge progress you couoldn't have a blip to start with .

Look at your basics , diet,- esp sugar over Xmas sleep , stress levels, supplements etc and ensure you haven't let anything slip.

I know we never make progress in complete linear fashion.

I had a crap morning this morning but then went charity shopping. (One of my favourite past-times) Had a few breathless spinouts but nothing to make me go back home.

    Found a few bargains.

My diets been pretty stable and with sleep, to be honest I think I may be getting too much.
