    Is it normal to have blind spots?

    If you put your finger in front of one eye, with the other closed can you find a blind spot? im freaking out!!!

    Hiya, yes you can. You have one in each eye just to the left centre of your vision. I noticed mine about 10yrs ago...freaked out but now i know why. Its where the optic nerve joins the optic disk and it blocks the light out so that is why you have one in each eye. One of my health anxiety is going blind so i know my homework on eyes,lol. Perfectly normal hun. xxxx

    Hi hun

    As others have said, this is normal hun. Ohh many moons ago, a teacher showed us this in school, by putting a dot on a peace of white paper, closing one eye and see the spot disapear thought it was cool at the time LOL but all normal.
