I think you must be short sighted Nicola, I have glasses that i am supposed to where for almost everything ,including driving (if only).

My vision out of the house is pretty bad, if someone waves to me I dont know who it is lol, Even with my glasses on things looks a little fuzzy so I am thinking about having laser eye surgery done but am terrified......has any one ever had it done ?

There wasn't a category for me. I have Astigmatism I'm not long or short sighted but I wear glasses for driving, reading, computer work etc. If I don't wear my glasses then I get dizzy and panicky.

There wasent a category for me either.

Most of lifes battles are won, by looking beyond the clouds to the sun:
and having the patience to wait for the day, when the sun comes out and the clouds go away.

Mirry, my husband had laser eye surgery about 6 weeks ago and his vision is now fantastic. He is really pleased and cant believe he waited so long before going for it .

He says it wasnt painful, just a little uncomfortable and depending on how squeamish you are about eyes, maybe not for the faint hearted lol!
He slept most of the day afterwards cos his eyes felt heavy...but after that it was improvements all the way. Had to wear goggles in bed for a week. ..picture sleeping with 'Man From Atlantis' (oops showing my age there lol). He had his surgery through optical express and the aftercare has been really good with regular checks.

My husbands the biggest wimp ever...so if he can do it I reckon anyone can.

    Hope this helps

    Re: eyes

For me it’s short sighted, although only a little bit. I often have to wear glasses for board work at College, particularly if I’m near the back and for watching television. Sometimes I do feel it’s worse when I start having a Panic Attack, but the slightly more blurrier vision while I have panic attack doesn’t last for too long fortunately.

I love the fact when you ware glasses and realise how nice and clear everything is.
