    So worried need some reassurance

Went to the dr because I have a fatty pillow type lump on my upper thigh. Not sure if she felt the right place, but she said its just a lipoma. Im scared its cancer. Im 23 and have my whole life to live plus I have an 8 month old daughter. I want to go back in and have her recheck but im so embarassed. Should I trust her or go to a dif clinic and have a second opinion?

If you are not reassured you should go back, it may put your mind at ease. Fatty tissues are very common and whenever we feel lumps or bumps we always think the worse. My dad had a huge fatty lump on his arm, in time it just seemed to go. Since Ive been loosing weight Ive found all kinds of lumps and bumps everywhere, not used to feeling my body with no fat on it!!! I would listen to your doctor, they're the experts but like I said if you are not assured go back, Im sure they must get this all the time.
    Take care,
