Hi guys
im from the health anxiety forum suffer from ocd and health anxiety and have been pretty darn bad since November 2009. Now 26 and need to get my life in order. Lately i have been obsessed with having neck cancer due to finding 'lump(s)' on my neck when prodding around.
realised i need to fully start myself on cbt to help myself and get back on track so have decided to start the following plan as told to me by my cbt therapist.
1)not engaging with health anxiety thoughts at all
2)not avoiding any area of life and finding something of 'value' to do
3)tell myself that 'i have ruined my life but it is unlikely' as this is a fear of mine (due to health anxiety)
well here goes let therapy commence!
