    Double trouble

Does anyone have any experience of childhood soiling problems? My 9 year old son has been doing it for much of the past three years and we're just about to consult the paediatric unit at the hospital again to try to sort it as it's really getting us down now. What's more, it's acting as a trigger for my anxiety as well. What if there's something really wrong with him? Could there be something physical that they've missed in the past? What if the authorities start thinking it's something we're doing as parents? What if they decide he's at risk and take our kids away? As you can tell, the old anxiety demon is working overtime at present. The irony of it all is that I was relatively normal until I had kids and started to worry myself sick over them.

    Re: Double trouble

I used to wet the bed till I was at least your son's age, probably older. I used to dream that I was going to the toilet and..............(you can guess the rest) My parents took me to the docs but there was nothing wrong. I grew out of it, your son will too. Try not to worry. All the best. Baggs.
