Emetophobia strikes again!!

Hello all

Just wanted to come on here as I haven't been on for a year or so! I am a sufferer of emetophobia and have been since I was about 17 (Im 23 now).

I have had various therapies including CBT, EDMR and Hypnotherapy and also take Citalopram to help me.

I have been doing very well which is why I didn't come on here for a while but last week I had an incident with raw chicken and panic struck me like it used to! So I decided to come back on here and see how everyone else is coping with their emet these days!

Hiya aw I'm sorry to hear ur having a bad time again :( I was doing quite well too until sat nite when my gf was sick in my bathroom and I had a PA but I did manage to calm myself quickly which is a first coz usually they last up to 24hrs lol its really hard to think of ur cbt and breathing etc when u panic isn't it! I hope u just see this as a lil blip and remember how well uve been doin and realise u can do it and get over it
