Possibly swallowed small piece of glass!!

Been a while since i've been here!! This is my latest worry!! I had a drink in front of me on the table at dinner and I dropped the pepper pot (stupid me) on it and it cracked the glass and a few small pieces shot off and into my diner!!!! I picked most of it out and ate the rest of my food. Now i'm worried i might have eaten small pieces of glass. I didnt feel anything in my mouth at all, and we are talking very small pieces of glass.

What should I do, its been an hour and dont feel any different?

I think you will be fine and would have had stomach pains by now if it was anything bad

Aww you will be ok. You would have tasted the glass in your mouth if there was any or it was very big.

I'm you will be ok, people swallow weird things all the time, so it should come out the other end :-)
If your still worried maybe ring up your doctor or nurse for advice.
I have rand the VHI nurse a few times and they were very helpful.

Thanks Mishel, I did ring an out of hours chemist and spoke to someone there and she said that it will pass through!! I guess in 1-2 days. The pieces were small and if i did swallow a few, i would'nt of known, so i can't imagine they would do much damage. It was with food as well, so not on an empty stomach, if that helps at all!

I'm just freaked by these things and cant help thinking worse case outcome!!!
