SSRI causing night sweats. Any tips?

I was on Citalopram for many years and throughout the whole time I was having night sweats every night. I would wake up literally soaked in sweat. I actually thought it was just me, until I swapped to mirtazapine and lo and behold the night sweats disapeared! YAY!
Bad news is that im now on Seroxat as my anxiety was really bad again.... and im back to getting the night sweats. So its obviously an issue I have with SSRIs.

I dont want to come off these meds as they are helping with my anxiety, but I do need some advice on how to deal with the night sweats. Does anyone have any advice or anything that worked for them?

Hi, vixxy - I have night sweats too but I think mine are just me getting very hot. I wake up so wet it feels like I am swimming only happens in certain weather conditions

I have tried lots but the only thing that works for me is sleeping on top of a soft bath towel. It seems to absorb the water and allows me to stay asleep. It may work for you?
