Group CBT?

Hey all,
I had my first counsellor assessment today and she is referring me for CBT (so happy as this is what I wanted) However she said that one to one CBT is not available on the NHS in my area so has referred me to a group class. Apparently it's an 11 week course, with a one to one assessment in the middle and at the end. She said group CBT is really good and effective.
It has about a 12 week waiting list........sigh.
Has anyone got any experiences with doing CBT in a group?
I have mixed feelings about it as was really hoping on a one to one approach so my specific thoughts could be addressed, I'm scared that I won't want to speak out much in a group at all and so this won't be as effective as it perhaps could have been for me.

Ive had 2 lots of group CBT and found both to be really helpful.

I've had quite a lot of group CBT too, and I found it very helpful !
