rescue remedy, side effects & olanzapine??

Hallo again

I'm seriously considering trying rescue remedy in one of the forms sold on here.
Also, considering re-starting on olanzapine prescribed by my GP.

Please could someone tell me if

*they are ok taken together
* Rescue remedy or indeed any bach flower remedies have any side effects?

I have been taking Rescue Remedies for years. I started taking Sertraline 10 weeks ago and still take the Rescue Remedy - mainly at night when I get the jitters - and have had no side effects. The effect of Rescue Remedy is very subtle and you do have to believe in it.
My kids all carry it in their school bags, it helps with exams and dental appointments etc.
However, you should check with your GP to make sure it is OK for you.

I too would like to try rescue remedy but have always feared side effects so you are not silly! I recommended my brother try them but was too much of a scardy cat to try myself.
Might invest in some and have a go, theres nothing to lose is there except perhaps my sanity with all the worrying!!!

Rescue Remedy has never caused side effects in anyone I know, and I am dreadfully fearful of side effects as I have emetophobia - however I've used it since I was a child for years now and been fine.

Carol, many thanks for the kind understanding Wondr who will brave them first? Your're right, maybe the panic is more likely to cause symptoms than the remedy?

I also have issues with taking new things and spent months researching the rescue remedy i bought some a few weeks ago and they sat on my counter for days before i plucked up the courage to try them, i eventually did and i have had no side effects whatsoever and they have really helped me

I have both the pastilles and the chewing gum, I prefer the spray though, I just don't feel like it's doing anything when it's the gum or pastilles, they don't taste bad though

I shall begin with the gum i think because i chew normal when driving to help with nerves and it seems the less noticable in public x
