and now after the breathlessness yesterday i am this morning spitting up blood

it was hard blood in my nose this morning and now in is coming down and into my mouth. what do you think
a blood clot undetected. my mum in law says it must b coming from my nose but what if it is not

It sounds as if it is just blood from your nose. Get it checked out just to put your mind at rest. As far as I know, blood clots do not bleed like that but if you need reassurance - go get it.

Hi Jackie,

I was just wondering, have you been blowing your nose alot?
Sometimes if we blow our nose alot it causes little vesels to burst which bleed, this is not harmfull and they do heal.
I have done this while having a cold virus, through blowing my nose all the time.

I know its really hard Jackie but try and not think the worse.

You take care and if you need more reasurance, as LT said, go get it. as I've always said, peace of mind goes along way.

thanks you two, the bllood is still coming mostly from me mouth but they said it was nothing to worry about. my gp sent me to casualty but they did no tests, said it came from my nose. they said they did tests for clot lasst week and that proved no clot, that there was no need to repeat them. i was great then but because the blood is still coming in very small bits im starting the old doubting thing
