Hi everyone! I have been battling with depression, panic attacks and agrophobia on and off for years.
I took myself off the meds about 18 months ago and went back on them about 4 months ago. Long story!
I have been really ill and my GP is tapering me off Duloxetine and I am having a blood test tomorrow to make sure that there isn't any underlying condition which is causing my symptoms.
I am experiencing what I can only presume are withdrawal symptoms now- dreadful nausea, muscle pain, electric shock sensations, hot and cold sweats, shaking, severe headache and mood swings. I am at my wits end. I have had counselling, CBT, hypnotherapy, seen a shrink and none of it has really got to the root of the problem.
I detest meds - they are toxic and addictive and although they have helped control my anxiety to some extent the side effects have been so awful I don't know how much more of this I can take.
If anybody can offer me any words of advice it would be really appreciated.
