my tongue hurts

i feel like im getting sick and the back of my tongue hurts the muscle!! is this normal ...

I get a aching tongue when my neck muscles are tense or I have been sucking or chewing alot say on french bread or hard sweet. It literally is a pulled muscle and I only get it on one side and it hurts when I move my tongue or swallow and pain can shoot up to ear on affected side - it lasts about 24 hrs with me but I will keep forgetting not to chew too much or too long.

If its just sore as in sore throat then you could be getting a virus - wait and see.
