    Hello

    I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Sally, I am 41 and I have anxiety and OCD and have done since my childhood, but it has got worse in recent years. It often cripples me. I have had various forms of counselling and at the moment am having CBT. It is not helping too well and a friend told me about joining on here. I am not on any medication.

    Hi Sally. What does your CBT involve for your OCD? Not all therapists work from the same cook book so to speak. There are a number of good therapists out there, however I have also read some stories about other therapists who in contrast don't seem to understand obsessive and compuslive behaviour.
