Increased sensitivity to smells and light

Is this quite normal with anxiety, do you have this also?

Re: Increased sensitivity to smells and light

Scents don't seem to bother me, but light and sound can sometimes be problems. I go nowhere without ear plugs and sunglasses in my pocket. When things begin to crowd in a bit too much, I put them to good use.

Anxiety manifests in many different ways. I have heard of people experiencing an increase in sensitivity to sounds as the result of an anxiety disorder, so I'm sure someone here will chime in soon. Rest assured, this is certainly not unheard of among anxiety sufferers.

Yes it's quite normal. You can be over sensitive to pretty much anything that provides stimulation.
