    New(ish) symptom

After a really stressful day I thought I'd coped really well and was relaxing in front of the telly exhausted when... bang, flush all over, itch all over and get foul weird taste in my mouth like metal - YUK!!

Panicked for 5 minutes in case I was about to go into anaphylactic shock (obviously) but have calmed down a little now after trying very hard to rationalise it....

Anxiety is a beast that lurks on the edges of my life and pounces out to get me when I think I'm ok and it's so so so frustrating, tiring and tedious, not to mention frightening!

I can only hope it will settle fairly quickly.....

    Beam me up....

    Hi Fee,

I'm so sorry you are feeling rubbish. I hate that feeling when you know there's nothing wrong but you can still feel the panic coming on...
Hope you start feeling better soon,

Crikey it got really bad for 10 minutes there.... my ears were whooshing, really dizzy, so so hot....

Just kept saying - stressful day - wouldn't it be a coincidence if it was anything BUT anxiety, nothing else makes sense, so it MUST be.....

And I'm a bit better now, I think I'm riding it..... I hope nothing else happens!

    What a demon....

    Hi Fee

It is not surprising you are experiencing anxiety what with everything that is going on at present. Well done for rationalising so well.

Karen thank you so much!!! Yes of course - I do have a headache coming on too and it is all totally unsurprising - in fact I have been completely bowled over at how well I felt all day considering what I have on my plate....

I just wish I would feel upset or have 'normal' anxious feelings instead of this constantly changing string of weird and wonderful symptoms that seem like they are sent to test my ability to cope!!!

If we are put on earth to learn something it was to learn to cope with fear and health problems!!!!

You are such a star to find those links for me! I still feel absolutely awful but am not actually in panic mode... at the moment lol!!!!

    love n hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh Fee, I wish I could beam you up to the Freedom of Panic Land. I could just imagine all of us making the journey in one huge group!

Just hang on in there - you are doing very well by thinking of everything to make it add up to anxiety.

Hope you have a good sleep and a better day tomorrow.

    Hugs,

    Hi Fee,

Hmm you fibbed to me, you said it was not catching [}] then you mention the Itchy word! Lol. Only joking Aunty.

Sorry you're having a bad time but it seems like you're coping with it very well and rationalising it. Well done for that.

I've had the odd metallic taste in my mouth a few times too (and not only when fillings fall out). Unless you're pregnant I think it's probably anxiety.

    Thinking of you.
